Product Description
Liquid with volatile and pungent odor. It is miscible with water, ethanol, aldehydes, benzene, pyridine, chloroform and other organic solvents, partially soluble in carbon tetrachloride, but insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons. It can form azeotrope with water, the azeotropic point is 97 ℃, and the content of propargyl alcohol is 21 2%。 It can form azeotrope with benzene, the azeotropic point is 73 ℃, and the content of propargyl alcohol is 13.8%. Its vapor and air form an explosive mixture, which can cause combustion and explosion in case of open fire and high heat. It can react strongly with oxidants.
